Brad Miller
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I work with people who have spent years navigating their way through relentless anxiety, relationship challenges, and the hidden toll of high-pressure jobs, especially first responders and people who were taught to keep their emotions under wraps. Clients tell me our sessions feel like a blend of practical application and safe haven: a space to steady the nervous system, examine painful stories without judgment, and rehearse new ways of showing up at home, at work, and in the mirror.
My therapeutic style is intentionally integrative and trauma-informed. Grounded in a person-centred, values-driven philosophy, I weave together evidence-based skills from CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy with polyvagal-informed breathwork and somatic tracking. Narrative and Internal Family Systems principles help us re-author the dominant stories that keep us stuck. At the same time, my certification in cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) offers concrete relief when fragmented sleep fuels distress. The goal is simple but profound: to train your mind–body system to stay present, flexible, and aligned with what matters most, even when life is loud.
I draw on years of experience in environments where I witnessed, and also lived, how “toughing it out” works, until it doesn’t. Those lessons, combined with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Bachelor’s in Social Work and additional certifications, guide my work as a therapist. If you’re ready to move from surviving to a life that feels like yours, I’m here to help.
