REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST

I am a registered psychotherapist with eighteen years experience working with individuals and groups across a variety of settings. To name a few, this includes clinics, EAP programs, structured outpatient programs for children and youth, education settings and private practice. I have also taught students in the Human Services and Counseling Program at Durham College where I provided clinical and administrative supervision to students during field placements.
Born and raised in Montreal to Carribean parents, I earned my Master’s degree at McGill in Education and Counseling Psychology and I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I am also a member of the Ontario College of teachers.
I believe in working in partnership with my clients, utilizing their strengths to help them understand their challenges and achieve their goals. I believe it is important to understand all aspects of an individual’s life that impacts their well-being including physical health, support systems, work/school environment and faith/spirituality.
On a personal level, I am passionate about food, music, dancing, reading, and entertaining. When I am not helping in the professional sense, I enjoy spending time decompressing with my family.
